The Alhory Group opens Sunday the XII Contest Amateur Theatre 'Cehegín City' (09/03/2015)

Mayor Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Culture, Nicolás del Toro, presented at a press conference the XII Contest Amateur Theatre 'Cehegín City', which starts this coming Sunday, March 15, with the unpublished work 'The Prison God 'that released on Alhory Cehegín Group under the direction of Jesús García.

As explained Nicolás del Toro, a total of 16 companies amateur theater Murcia have been submitted to the contest, and has been responsible for evaluating the jury mounts which has made the selection of the seven participants.

Of these companies, two are new to the contest, participating for the first time.

One is the company ceheginera Alhory, cited above, and another We love Musicals, which will offer a work with live music entitled 'To the beat of three for two'.

"The other companies have already gone through the contest and have again been selected for the good taste that left as Jacaranda, UGT, Thalia, Tejuba or Atrecho, all winners in previous years different prizes", explained the Councillor for Culture.

A new feature this year is that the public will vote on each of the works, a view will be taken into account by the panel of judges to issue its verdict in each of the existing modalities.

The price of each book will be of 2 euros and bonuses are offered at the price of 5 euros to enter the seven works.

Cultural Passport holders with at least five stamps can enter for free.

For its part, the mayor has welcomed the event as an appointment with a low budget, around 5,000 euros, provides a full week of culture and leisure Cehegín's neighbors, encouraging amateur theater in the Region of Murcia and promoting their work Murcia companies.
