Since the Autonomous Community in partnership with the European Social Fund, are to be allocated throughout this year 2.4 million euros to promote the employability of groups at risk of exclusion
The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs Murciano Institute of Social Action, Miguel Angel Miranda, mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, and the councilman of Social Services, María José de Maya, have closed today the three courses given by Association for the Cure, Drug Addicts Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Bethany in which 18 people participated in the municipality of Cehegín.
The courses 'Operator Nursery and Landscape', 'Building Maintenance' and 'Computer: Word, Excel' taught by Bethany have a duration of 50 hours each.
These courses indicated Miralles, "will enable the social integration of those who have more difficulty finding and accessing a job, promoting their autonomy and professional and personal development."
In this sense, the general manager praised the work performed by Third Sector organizations to make these training routes and to conduct courses and workshops that allow access to certain groups in the labor market.
These three courses are framed in the program 'Supported Employment', with a grant from the IMAS of 26,304 euros, funded 20 percent by the regional government and 80 percent by the European Social Fund through the Program Regional Operational European Social Fund 2014-2020.
Miralles recalled that this is one of the various actions that his department runs on inclusion.
Thus, said, "Our commitment continues with the development of customized itineraries of labor insertion adds to other initiatives such as the Basic Income Inserting or Periodic Insertion Assistance and Social Protection to address those at risk of social exclusion" .
For their part, José María José Soria as Maya highlighted the work that for 25 years has been developing in the town of Cehegín the Betania Association.
"Since the City value and appreciate the work that this center takes is a benchmark throughout the Region of Murcia in operation and attention to their users," said the mayor.
The Autonomous Community in partnership with the European Social Fund, plans to allocate 2,442,000 euros in 2015 to enable the labor insertion of the most disadvantaged groups.
Last year 770,000 euros were allocated, which is allowing develop schedules and labor insertion with approximately 1,450 people.
Thanks to these actions, 220 people gained access to a job throughout 2014.
