Crimes and Misdemeanors fell by 4.5% in 2014 and the number of detainees increased by 12%
The Government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, met this morning with Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, to discuss matters related to public safety in a town where, last year, crimes and misdemeanors were down 4 47% compared to 2013 and the number of detainees increased by 12%.
Bascuñana has conveyed his wish that those numbers will improve over this year, especially with the addition of six new players to strengthen the position of Civil Guard of the town, which now has a total of fifteen effective.
They may have a greater presence on the street with the recent introduction of electronic reporting, whose details have been discussed at this meeting, which was also attended by Colonel of the 5th part of the Civil Guard, José Ortega.
