The Brotherhood of Ladies and Knights of the Holy Sepulchre has been commissioned this year to develop the poster for Easter Cehegín, which was presented at a ceremony in the church of Solitude with the assistance of Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria;
President of the Central Board of Brotherhoods of Easter, Pedro Alfonso de Maya and the president of the Holy Sepulchre, Diego Fernández.
The poster is the work of Andrew Albarracín, who was captured in a photograph the act of the Holy Burial of Christ, recovered by this penitential corporation Good Friday last year after decades unfulfilled.
The image shows three brothers of the fraternity hooded lanterns escorting the image of Reclining front of the altar it occupies in the Church of Solitude.
At this event has also distributed magazine Easter and a program of hands with the schedule of events, cults and all fraternities processions that take place during Lent and Holy Week.
On the other hand, and in the course of the event, the mayor, José Soria, has given the president of the Central Board of guilds municipal subsidy for Easter, which in this 2015 rises to 15,000 euros.
The event also served to close the exhibition 'Passion and light, the image of Christ in Holy Week Cehegín', which was visited by over 1,000 people.
The deacon of the diocesan seminary of San Fulgencio, Juan Carlos Ponce, was in charge of closing the show, highlighting the historical, artistic and devotional values ​​transmitted.
