The CEO of Educational Planning and Human Resources, Enrique Ujaldón, and Councilman Cehegín Education, Nicolás del Toro, this morning held a working meeting with the heads of the six schools in the municipality to finalize the process of schooling Course 2015-2016.
During the meeting, part of the meetings that are keeping the general director of Planning in different municipalities in the region, Ujaldón said the goal for next year is to maintain the ratio of the municipality, which currently is 22.9 pupils per unit in Early Childhood and Primary Education 21.4.
Today, the town has five schools and Primary Education, including four public and one concerted, plus a clustered rural school districts covering Valentine, Canara and Campillo of Jiménez.
The total number of students enrolled in these six centers is 1,398, 413 enrolled in kindergarten and 985 in primary.
Of the six schools, four of which are integrated into the network of bilingual education implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities through the '+ Languages' strategy, which means that 67 percent of schools taught Cehegín classes in a foreign language.
