Cehegín City Council has donated to Charity Association ceheginera 1,500 euros to help the work being done, as embodied in delivery, twice a month, lots of staples to more than 40 families Cehegín to which the crisis and the current economic situation has hit hard.
With some of this money the association has purchased a refrigerator and the rest continue to purchase food and staples, as explained by the coordinator of the association, Juan Pedro Moya.
The City also contributed by donating food and goods in kind.
The 40 batches of food are distributed on Tuesday afternoon are biweekly possible by numerous donations from neighbors, shops and businesses in the town, the Northwest Region and the Region of Murcia.
Juan Pedro Moya wanted to thank the support and products received from companies such as Desserts Reina, Hero Spain, Canned Marín Giménez Brothers and Grupo San Marino, in addition to those coming through the generosity of the residents of Cehegín.
Last Christmas Charity Association duplicated ceheginera lots usually delivered, and also increase the products of each batch.
Juan Pedro Moya explains that the families we help are cehegineras to the current economic situation has led to a disadvantaged position and need help.
