Students in 5th and 6th year of Primary CEIP Begastri City School belonging to the Group for the Protection of Nature in Cehegín (Gepnace) participated in a reforestation campaign by planting more than 150 pine trees in the mountains of Cehegín in enabled by the vicinity of the Northwest Greenway areas.
The specimens have been donated by the Directorate General Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The councilors of Environment, Maria Dolores Carrasco, and Montes, Joaquín Marín, accompanied by teachers and students in this forest journey.
The creation of the group arises Gepnace years at school Begastri City to promote the values ​​of respect and care for the social, cultural and natural environment of the municipality of the town.
