Cehegín City Council, through the Department of Culture directed Nicolás del Toro, has launched the XII Amateur Theatre Festival "City of Cehegín" in order to promote the love of the performing arts from all towns Murcia.
XII CONTEST RULES OF AMATEUR THEATRE CEHEGĂN
1st.
They may take part in this competition all groups who wish, whenever they have amateur status and belonging to the Region of Murcia.
2nd.
The performances will be in Spanish and may be creations of the groups themselves or others.
3rd.
Of all the groups who have requested their participation a selection is made.
4th.
The choice referred to in the previous paragraph will be conducted by the competition organizers, considering the work to represent.
5th.
After the selection of the participating groups, the organization will appoint the dates of action of each of them.
6th.
The competition will be held in the month of March 2015.
7th.
The deadline for registration will end on February 1, 2015 based on the following data:
a) Name of the group.
b) Responsible for the group and mailing address and phone number.
c) Title of the work and brief synopsis of it.
d) artistic and technical specs.
e) Record of the group.
Video-DVD (DVD uncompressed) summary of the work to be present or otherwise represented.
(This is important to facilitate the selection.)
f) mounting photos, if possible.

Shipments are made within an envelope, outside of which it is hereby made: For the X Contest Amateur Theatre 'Cehegín City'.
8th.
All works will take place at the Cultural Center Adolfo Suárez Cehegín.
9th.
In the event that the work to represent it bore copyright, the troupe will be responsible for obtaining permission from the SGAE being exempt organization Contest any liability.
10th.
The staging and loading and unloading shall be borne by the participating groups.
The organization will provide the same black camera, sound and lighting.
11th.
The Department of Culture contribute to the costs of the groups with a contribution of 250 euros.
12th.
The following prizes are established:
a) Best Show:
First prize: 400 euros.
Second prize: 250 euros.
b) Best: 300 euros
c) Best Actor: 200 euros
d) Best actress: 200 euros.
Prizes are subject to the relevant withholding tax.
13th.
The jury of the contest will be appointed by the organization and its decision is final.
14th.
Entry in the competition implies full acceptance of each and every one of the Bases.
15th.
The awards, the organization communicate, in advance, the date and place of the act.
