Training of traditional music from across the Northwest Region participate today in the First Meeting of Crews 'The Mesoncico' held in Cehegín under the Christmas celebrations and is organized jointly by the City Council through the Department of Celebration, Tourism and Culture, and the Animeros Cehegín.
The participating crews are to Animeros del Campo de San Juan, El Sabinar and the Calar of the Holy;
of the Immaculate Conception of Cañada de la Cruz;
of Caravaca de la Cruz, the Aguilanderos Barranda;
the Animeros del Campillo of Jiménez and hostess training Cehegín.
A total of six formations that represent the "best of the traditional music of the Northwest Region", as expressed by the Councillor for Tourism, Francisco in April, and Secretary of Animeros Cehegín, Emilio José López.
This morning, crews have been playing in the Plaza del Castillo, in the Old Town, coinciding with the December issue of Craft Market 'The Mesoncico', in which the typical Christmas sweets were the protagonists.
In addition, the meeting of gangs has coincided with the feast of the Holy Innocents, holiday intertwined with the brotherhoods of Souls from time immemorial.
This afternoon at 17:00 hours, all crews perform onstage at Casa de la Cultura.
