The council Public Safety and Traffic Cehegín City Council, Maria Dolores Carrasco, has reported that all tests performed by the local police during the campaign of the Directorate General of Traffic on the supervision of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, have given a negative result, below the maximum permitted levels.
The Local Police has conducted a total of 118 controls between Monday 15 and Sunday December 21 inclusive.
The council wanted to highlight that "there are some very positive data, so we must congratulate everyone for the exemplary in compliance with the rules and understand that these campaigns, ultimately, what they do is to benefit the whole of society, being aiming to avoid accidents that may endanger the physical safety of driving under the influence of alcohol and third ".
María Dolores Carrasco has reiterated his gratitude to the citizens for their collaboration.
