The Local Security Board held its regular meeting in the second half of the year at the Center for Public Safety with the presence of councilors Maria Dolores Carrasco, Francisco Abril and Juan Antonio Chico, representatives of the Local Police and Civil Guard and the Delegation the Government.

At this meeting it has become apparent decrease by more than 40% of interventions by criminal acts relative to the first half of this year, standing out among other actions the operation carried out jointly by Local Police and Civil Guard and culminating in arrests for burglary of the municipality.

This board has emphasized the preventive police presence and action as a fundamental means for combating crime.
