The Municipal Committee on Youth, Alcohol and drugs has agreed at its last meeting the convenience of finding a suitable place to serve as a meeting point for young children of the town, where no alcohol is served and in which perform musical activities with local groups and leisure outside the environment of alcohol and drugs.

At the last meeting table councilors participated Public Safety, María Dolores Carrasco;

Education, Nicolás del Toro;

Sports, Antonio Marín;

Social Services, María José de Maya, and Youth, Ruben Sanchez, along with the directors of the three secondary schools, the local police sergeant, the Betania Association and representatives of the AMPAS of schools.

Representatives of the Betania Association have revealed that they have launched a project whose starting point direct contact with children, to know their problems and concerns, and that they themselves told what to do and what issues are concerned.

With that information assets working groups were created.

For its part, the mayor of Education reported to be re-start the Classroom Absenteeism in January and Youth Councilman explained the offer of activities carried out during the weekends the Youth Space under the series 'The Night is Young'.

Finally, the Councillor for Public Safety reported that local police continues to implement preventive controls to deter youth groups that focus on the different parks and other areas of the resort to substance use.
