Training of traditional music from across the Northwest Region will participate in the First Meeting of crews 'The Mesoncico' to be held in Cehegín on December 28 as part of the Christmas celebrations and is organized jointly by the City through the Department Celebrations, Tourism and Culture, and the Animeros Cehegín.

The meeting was presented this morning by the Councillor for Tourism, Francisco in April, and the secretary of Animeros Cehegín, Emilio José López, who have shown that this meeting is born with vocation of continuity, to join the event calendar of its kind to be held annually in the region.

The participating crews will be to Animeros del Campo de San Juan, El Sabinar and the Calar of the Holy;

of the Immaculate Conception of Cañada de la Cruz;

of Caravaca de la Cruz, the Aguilanderos Barranda;

the Animeros del Campillo of Jiménez and hostess training Cehegín.

A total of six formations that represent the "best of the traditional music of the Northwest Region", as expressed by Francisco April and Emilio José López, who added that considered suitable for this first meeting invite gangs in the area.

The Councillor for Tourism explained that the meeting be held in the Plaza del Castillo, in the Old Town, and will coincide with the December issue of Craft Market 'The Mesoncico' and is also the feast of the Holy Innocents that day, which adds more meaning to the event.

From 11:30 am until noon formations will be located in six points of the Plaza del Castillo where they will be playing.

In the afternoon, from 17:00 hours, and after lunch twinning, all crews perform onstage at Casa de la Cultura.
