The triathlete Ana Burgos has been honored at the Gala Triathlon Murcia held last Saturday in Cehegín.
Burgos has achieved throughout his long career in triathlon seventh in the 2004 Summer Olympics, to be European champion in 2005 and eighth and ninth in the world in 2003 and 2004 respectively.
Over 350 people attended the gala, organized annually Triathlon in the Region of Murcia, where it is widely acknowledged to Murcia triathletes.
During the awards ceremony, led by the Speaker of More FM Begastri David Martinez, presented the awards circuit Duathlon and Triathlon Murcia and the Aquathlon drink in the various categories.
In total there were more than 150 awards, highlighting Cristóbal García, AD Cehegín, first circuit Duathlon and Julio Sánchez, CT Murcia, as the # Triathlon Circuit.
The event was attended by President of the Federation of Triathlon in the Region of Murcia, Diego Calvo, accompanied by the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria and deputy of the Regional Assembly, Gregorio Morales.
Calvo said that triathlon passes "for a great time in the Region of Murcia," praising the work of "the organizers of the various tests."
For its part, the mayor stressed that "Cehegín is overturned sport and continue to support" recalling that the Sports Council with the mayor Antonio Marín front, has organized a total of three duathlons six triathlons four acuatlones, two end Duathlon Sport School, and two triathlon and many other events in recent years.
