Cehegín City Library has launched a book club made up of 16 women in the activities of the new course.

The first meeting of the club took place this past Tuesday, November 11, at the House of Culture, and in her readers have pooled their findings and impressions on the book 'In the absence of White', the writer Antonio Muñoz Molina, the first thing they read.

Club meetings will be monthly, and also will be a book to read each month.

The second title to read is 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' by Irish writer John Boyne, one of the biggest publishing successes in recent years.

The next club meeting will be on December 15.
