The House of Culture Cehegín hosted the XXXIII edition of the Murciano Sports Awards, which delivers Cehegín Athletic Association in collaboration with the City of Cehegín.
The ceremony was attended by the Director General of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marin and Athletic Cehegín president, Juan Martínez.
This year's winners were the journalist Diego Sanchez, Eloy Teruel cyclist, weight thrower Ursula Ruiz, the walker Manuel Bermúdez, Ana Carrasco pilot, the Municipal Sports Fuente Alamo Triathlon Federation Region Murcia, teacher and coach Manuel Ángel Luque, the Regional Football League mental health pro-Sala (Feafes), José Antonio Carrillo, athletic trainer, Miguel Ángel López Nicolás, recent European champion gear, the Rhythmic Gymnastics club Cartagena, which has offered a small demonstration of his work and research work 'Guide for prescribing exercise in patients with cardiovascular risk'.
The journalist Diego Sanchez has been commissioned to speak on behalf of all the winners.
Sanchez said it all winners "in sports where the main quality lies in the ability to sacrifice, suffering flag and desire to excel."
Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín, thanked the Athletic Cehegín work being done annually to recognize the work of the athletes of the Region of Murcia, "awards that with his 33 years of life are here and are more alive than ever ".
Finally the CEO of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, said that "we should be very proud of the athletes we have in the region of Murcia."
