For the first time in thirteen years, the Contest of Outdoor Painting 'Cehegín City' will be held over two days on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October, with the aim of enabling the artists to devote more time to his work improving the quality of them and can enjoy Cehegín throughout the weekend.
This has been explained Council of Tourism, Francisco April and Culture, Nicolás del Toro, who have presented this event, fully consolidated, using the winning image in last year's edition.
Another development that brings the contest is the time of its conclusion, which is that until last year had always been held in the spring on a Sunday in the months of May or June.
In addition, for the first time, the competition will not be limited to the Old Town.
Participants will reflect painters brushes any corner or any of the different neighborhoods of the town or capture their natural beauty works from the garden or the mountains of the municipality ceheginero.
The competition provides three awards in Senior category of 1,500, 650 and 500 euros three consolation prizes of 300 euros each and a Youth Award category.
The winning works will be signed by the authors on the front and become the property of the City and its partners, which are Bodegas Carreño, Supermarkets Navarrete, Juan Wonders Oils and Athemis Advisors.
