I March for Rare Diseases, held on August 31 in Cehegín, has raised a total of 2,143 euros to be allocated to the D'Genes Association, which amount to another 185 euros provided by the Association Adinor add.
This morning has been symbolic presentation of the collection in an event which was attended by the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín;
delegate D'Genes in the Northwest Region Donate Pascual;
the representative Adinor Sofia Clemente, and member of the Club MTB Simaos, Juan Antonio Espin.
Donate Pascual shown Cehegín thanked the City Council and all associations and individuals who have made this first edition of the march, especially Adinor.
The delegate of D'Genes in Northwest explained that the "very important for us," money raised will be used for various programs and services offered to children affected by rare diseases called as rehabilitation, speech therapy techniques relaxation or aid to education.
Sophia Clement explained that the 185 euros from the Association Adinor come from the joint sale of items manually by the students of the Summer School 'Small Craft', held during the months of July and August with children.
For his part, Antonio Marín pointed to the high number of participants in the march, a total of 418, despite being the first year of celebration.
Councillor for Sports has said that this march will continue in coming years to further support the cause.
