The Patron Saint of Cehegín, which start tonight officially with the opening of the fair and on the special lighting, have had this past weekend with a musical preamble XIV Festival of Bands 'Cehegín City' and the concert Musical Society and the choir 'Cehegín City', held at the Camelot Hall on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The festival has had this year with the City of Torrevieja Musical Society 'salt shakers' Band and Musical Patronage Columbine 'Francisco Díaz Romero' formations as guests, who acted alongside hosts Cehegín.
The Alicante band, directed by Adrian Hurtado, has interpreted the paso doble 'Spring' by Antonio Gisbert, 'Arabesque' by S. Hazo and 'Ireland: Of Legend and Lore' by R. Smith.
The hawk band, directed by Juan Rojo, has played three more parts: 'The Primitive' paso doble Jef Penders;
'The Merry Widow' of Uralde and 'Cachito and Cachita' Iwai.
The third band ceheginera act has been directed by Rafael González, who has played 'One Hundred Years of gasps' S. Fifth;
'Patterns Lorca' B. Laurent and 'Egmont' B. Appermont, concluding with the usual 'Song of Murcia' zarzuela by Alonso 'The Clubbing'.
As for the concert every year at this time featuring the chorus' Cehegín City, directed by Alfonso Gil and Musical Society, this time has been focused on the gender of the bolero.
Popular subjects like 'Only once', 'Soul, heart and life, "" Wow you're cute' or 'Besame Mucho' have been interpreted jointly by the choir and instrumental good for each of them separately.
The concert acted as soloists Ana Fernández and José Sánchez Lorenzo.
