The chronicler Cehegín Abraham Jiménez Ruiz, presented this morning at the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall a book containing some of the many items that throughout his long life of study and dissemination of the history ceheginera dedicated to the patron the resort, the Virgen de las Maravillas.
The work, entitled 'Wonderful Chronicle of the Virgin', takes a snapshot in front of the patron in his processional hearse during the procession of 10 September.
The event was attended by the mayor of Cehegín, José Soria;
Secretary General of the Official Reporters of Spain, Luis Lisón;
President of the Association of Writers of the Region of Murcia, Ricardo Montes;
the deputy director of the Real Academia Alfonso X 'El Sabio' Juan Gonzalez;
the official chronicler of the Region of Murcia, José Antonio Melgares;
the regional deputy Gregorio Morales, Aurelio Ruiz, on behalf of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Wonders, several councilors and numerous relatives and friends of the chronicler.
All participants stressed the vitality and lucidity of Abraham Ruiz despite his advanced age, the deep knowledge of history and ceheginera enthusiasm that is still functioning chronicler, working with different institutions.
The author stressed the importance of bringing these articles in a book so you do not lose, and has donated 50 copies to the City and as many to the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Wonderland.
