The Opera Zarzuela Company will stage the play 'The bunch of roses' this coming Monday, September 8, in the Camelot Room, within the programming of the festivity Cehegín 2014.
The piece, with lyrics by Anselmo C. Carreño and Francisco Ramos and Pablo Sorozábal music teacher, was premiered at the Teatro de Madrid Fuencarral November 13 de1934.
This is one of the most representative titles zarzuela repertoire and contains some of the most popular numbers of the same, as the duo of protagonists, Ascension and Joaquín, 'long ago come to the shop'.
The Opera Company Zarzuela started in 2002 under the direction of maestro Félix San Mateo.
The company has made a great effort to give the genre of the zarzuela and its staging the importance and relevance it deserves.
The cast of singers and actors is chosen around the vocal and physical characteristics of the character represented in the work in question.
It is composed of different vocal range sopranos, tenors, baritones and basses.

The choir consists of 24 professional singers, linking his vocal capacity of musical theater experience.
The orchestra of 28 regular teachers, teacher-directed Félix San Mateo, underpinning all this gear is the zarzuela.
The ballet of 4 couples also integrated into the show.
