The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has started construction of a new dressing rooms in the Secondary School (IES) of Argos Cehegín Vega.
This work, which is scheduled for November, represent a total investment of 212,017.20 euros.
The general director of Educational Institutions, María Dolores Valcárcel, this morning visited the works of this new infrastructure accompanied the mayor, José Soria, and the Councillor for Education, Nicholas del Toro, with whom he discussed the situation of schools in the municipality .
"The construction of these new costumes was a demand for the educational community of the institute and the City, and the Ministry has made a significant effort to meet this need and to students at the school have adequate infrastructure for education and training carried out under the best possible conditions within the '+ Educational Quality + School Success' strategy "stressed Valcárcel.
The new units, covering a total area of ​​113 square meters, consisting of two areas, one male and one female, equipped with showers, locker space, toilets and sinks.
There is also a disabled toilet and a dressing-office for teachers.
When visiting Cehegín also the general manager has checked the status of the works that have been carried out in the Virgin Wonderland Nursery School.
In particular, the Ministry of Education has allocated 11,000 euros for renovation and improvement of this school.
