Cehegín City Council has welcomed the official reception tonight the mayor, José Soria and Celebrations Councilman Ruben Sanchez, have offered seven women candidates to be elected Queen of the Festival, an event that has been submitted by the Speaker FM Radio More, David Martínez-Carrasco.
In the Municipal Plenary Hall, and live music from a string quartet, the seven candidates, accompanied by family and friends, have been submitted to the public and greeted by the mayor.
This year's Court of Honor will be formed by Laura de Gea April María García Sánchez, Sara García Sánchez, Ana María Morales Puerta, Maria Dolores Ortega López, Verónica Pérez and María Sánchez Avellaneda, all aged between 16 and 18 years.
Among them, a jury will choose the night next Friday, August 1, at 21:30 pm, the Queen of the festivity in honor of the Virgen de las Maravillas, to be held from 8 to 14 September.

José Soria recalled the night of the coronation of the Queen, August 30, there will be also the proclamation announcing the festivity, which this year will be given by Rafael Florenciano ceheginero cardiologist.
The mayor has also had words of gratitude and remembrance for the Queen and the Ladies of the Festivities 2013, attended the ceremony.
