LED technology is currently the most efficient and innovative way in which lighting about 80% of electrical energy is converted into light, consuming very little power and therefore emit very little heat.
Traditional incandescent bulbs convert only 20% of the energy into light, losing 80% as heat.
Furthermore, the light emitted by the LED is much brighter and sharper than the halogen and fluorescent.
Has an immediate power, and has no flicker and intensity variations.
Environmentally, the LED devices also have advantages because they require no gas to ignite, unlike fluorescent lamps that operate based on mercury vapor, whose components are harmful to health and the environment.
