Caritas Diocese of Cartagena has awarded one of its annual awards, the 2014 Heart Caritas, Social Care Program Caritas Virgin Parish Cehegín Wonderland is developing among the most disadvantaged.
These awards recognize the work of those individuals, institutions, organizations or projects that help aCáritas Diocese of Cartagenaen his charitable and welfare work.
The event was attended by the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and Luis Emilio Pascual episcopal delegate, representing the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena.
Fray Jesus Hernandez, provincial minister of the Order of Friars Minor in Cartagena, Alfonso Fernández López, director of Caritas Parish Virgin Wonderland, collected the award.
Currently, Caritas Virgin Wonderland has five projects: House Shelter for needy families;
San Francisco Day Centre, which caters for 54 children between 3 and 15 years;
Transient House;
Escort service where all the problems that users have managed (receipts water-light, medicine, education, food, etc..) And triangulating an employment project recycling and restoration of furniture that pursues social and professional integration.
Virgin Parish Caritas Wonderland wants to thank all those who make their projects a reality, volunteers, partners, business partners, Cehegín City Council, Department of Social Policy and Franciscan Fathers.
