The Directorate General of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of Murcia has authorized the City of Cehegín to make a power supply in mountains of the municipality due to extreme drought conditions and in order to avoid conflicts arising from movement of animals to peripheral areas and the consequent agricultural or health problems.
The measure has an extraordinary character, as explained Councilman Montes, Joaquín Marín, and is subject to different conditions.
One is that the power supply area is the boardwalk and Cambrones Gilico.
Another condition is that the delivery time is the summer season of 2014 and the food supply will be straw afalfa remains of carnation seeds of grasses and legumes.
"These actions will be subject to continuous technical monitoring in order to assess the special context in which they develop their effectiveness as an alternative way of dietary supplement and improvement in game management," said the mayor of Forestry.
