Cehegín Local Police in an operation carried out in collaboration with members of the Foreign Department of the National Police of Murcia, have proceeded to the arrest of a citizen, 33-year-old Moroccan nationality and residence in Cehegín, whose name answered initials NEB, for an alleged offense against the Immigration Act.
The detainee, as reported by the Councillor for Public Safety, Maria Dolores Carrasco, had numerous criminal records for narcotics issues and ongoing proceedings for an alleged crime of drug trafficking.
"The operation was successfully completed as a result of the work of investigation and monitoring the security forces have done, and by the great professional involvement of local police in our town," said Carrasco.
