The departments of Works and Utilities and the Environment, led by Juan Antonio and Maria Dolores Carrasco Chico respectively remind landowners and plots the obligation to keep them clean and dry weeds of brozas due to the danger of fire in these coming summer months.
Owners also have solar obligation to keep them clean of any inert material, known as debris or spillages.
Similarly, councilors remind landowners and vacant lots required to have them fenced to prevent a hazard.
In the event that this bylaw relating to the cleaning of the solar, the City, in the alternative is not met, will be responsible for cleaning these areas and transfer the cost of that service to the owner, who also receive a fine of between 750 and 1,000 euros.
