The total number of unemployed stood at 1,924 people, according to the data
The number of unemployed persons has declined Cehegín during last April in 108 people, according to data released by the Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, reaching the total unemployed in 1924.
This is significant because it is the first time since mid-2011 that the number of unemployed down from the 2,000 people in the township.
To date there are 276 fewer unemployed than in the same month last year.
Of the 108 registered unemployed less during April around 80% are from the services sector, 15% of the agricultural sector and the rest of the construction.
Councilman Employment and Economic Development, Francisco Abril, has welcomed this data "as corroborate the trend of job creation that we were observing in recent months in line with what is happening at the national level."
Francisco Abril said that "we must be cautious when analyzing the data and not kick the rooftops, but it seems that gradually the situation is improving and the first that are checking are those families whose members were unemployed and have already been able to find a job. "
