The House of Culture Cehegín hosts this Sunday, April 27th, a charity gala for rare diseases organized by the National Association of Friends of Arnold Chiari (ANAC) in collaboration with the City Council and the Association of Cehegín Rare Diseases and Other Severe Disorders of D'Genes Development.
This gala rather than a revenue purpose, aims to inform society ceheginera this association and provide information about rare diseases.
Moreover, this act is to make families know that they can have a family with some kind of rare disease that Cehegín have a point where to go for information, help and advice.
The Friends of Arnold Chiari National Association aims to inform and support patients and families affected with cranio-cervical malformations.
These brain diseases and congenital progressive cause severe pain, numbness, imbalance, ataxia, paraplegia and many more symptoms that affect quality of life of sufferers.
The gala will begin at 19:00 and will feature various musical performances and storytelling for children.
The entrance has a symbolic price of 2 euros.
