This Sunday, April 27, returns to the Plaza del Castillo a new edition of Craft Market 'The Mesoncico'.
This time the crafts of yesteryear are remembered.
There will be demonstrations of wood turning, ceramics, esparto and you can observe how they worked the spinners.
There will also be a display of how bobbin lace with lace makers from Caravaca, Mula, Archivel and Sewer, among other peoples is made.
Also you can taste the typical Rin Rán ceheginero accompanied by a good wine.
Fourth Sunday of each month, the Castle Square, at the top of the Old Town Cehegín declared European Cultural Heritage, hosts the Mesoncico The craft market, where more than fifty local artisans gather to offer their products, meats, ceramics, candy, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc.., and where each month you can learn about different traditions of the region.
The traditional cuisine of the area and the rich local gastronomy have a leading role in each of the markets because you can taste various typical dishes and products.
The market has a free shuttle from the parking deterrent located in the Technology Center of Marble, on the road from Murcia Cehegín by the West entrance to the square of Mesoncico, to make the visit more comfortable and hassle parking.
Moreover, this Sunday at 18:00 pm and held in the Plaza de Toros de Cehegín, a practical class of the School of Bullfighting in the region of Murcia.
