This is the main message that has moved Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, during the meeting with the media after touring with Councilman Works and Services, Juan Antonio Chico, some of these places badly damaged by vandalism and theft.
Juan Antonio Chico has listed some of the ravages of this 'geography of vandalism': in round the Old Town have destroyed more than 30 pillars and shot down five full walls and ripped two bars cast Ride, in the hamlet of El Seco have broken crystals all streetlights repeatedly, in different parks, streets, rounds and urbanized areas were also stolen repeatedly electrical wiring lighting, garden areas to the rear of the Rue de la Tertia have appeared graffiti and have broken wall and floor tiles.
The ruins of the old chapel of San Sebastian, converted into a landscaped garden and a veranda from which you have a magnificent view of the Old Town, have not escaped these facts, and there have been outbreaks and wiring night lighting and have broken and torn bins.
"We want to show these destructions Cehegín neighbors so they know what is going on and to launch three messages to the public," said Councilman Works and Services.
The first message is that all these destructions and thefts are an economic cost to city coffers, repairs and replacements in allocating money that could be spent elsewhere.
