The Auditorium and Congress Centre will host from February 28 to March 3 R Tourism Fair of the Region of Murcia, "a commitment to a concept of wine-based tourism where culture together, heritage, history, gastronomy, nature, active tourism and the interior ", as explained by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, during the presentation ceremony.
At the show, which will have as a goal the wine routes of Bullas, Jumilla and Yecla, City Council Cehegín participate with a booth Wine School, has been reported as the Councillor for Tourism, Francisco Abril.
Inaugurated last October in a restored seventeenth century cellar, Wine School is a modern space that combines tradition and future and aims to spread the wine culture by organizing activities of different kinds.
The Minister stressed that this is a show that aims to "encourage all citizens to explore the wide wine landscape of the region."
Furthermore, "Murcia is the only province that can boast three routes of wine certified" and stressed that this fair "show wine as experience and as attractive to all visitors to the region."
Among the objectives of the fair, Cruz pointed out that the first would be "knowledge by citizens of the wine area of ​​their land," which has emerged as "an educational work to be performed" and added that this event "will serve as the backbone through which we can incorporate that culture into the collective unconscious of all Murcia".
The second objective is to "provide a platform for knowledge of wine outside of the Region of Murcia in the national and international levels."
The entrance fee is 3 euros and includes two tics drinking.
