The Craft Market 'The Mesoncico' Sunday has revived the traditional slaughter with tasting the delicacies of pork, grilled meats and fresh sausages grilled bread and accompanied by good local wine.
We have also tasted the dishes of the day of slaughter as the pot and crumbs.
As every fourth Sunday of each month, the Plaza del Castillo Cehegín in the top of the Old Town, declared European Cultural Heritage, has embraced this market where over fifty artisans from throughout the Region of Murcia gather to offer products, meats, ceramics, candy, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc.., and where each month you can learn about different traditions of the region.
Moreover, in its January issue, 'The Mesoncico' coincided with the first day of the VI Top Road and Cocktail.
This fact, coupled with the beautiful day with temperatures have reached 20 degrees, have made thousands of people have come to the Plaza del Castillo.
Next year's market will be held on February 23 and will be dedicated to the Carnival, a tradition rooted in Cehegín.
