Celebrations Councilman of the City of Cehegín, Rubén Sánchez, presented the foundations of Carnival Poster Contest 2014, which this year takes place from 1 to 8 March, "which aims to advertise and promote the Carnival as a sign identity and strong tradition of the town and the Northwest Region "as he said.
In the contest all citizens of the country, who will present their works at most until 13 February at the House of Culture of Cehegín may participate.

The issue revolves around the idea of ​​the Fiesta Carnival.
The work will consist of developing a poster of Carnival Cehegín.
There will be three categories:
Adults (national level)
School II - students High School students, from 13 to 18 years (locally).
School I - Elementary Students up to 12 years (locally)
The making of the poster will have to undergo the following criteria:
For category a) Adults:
It should be drawing, painting, photography or digital design and free technical measures 50x70cm.
or equivalent.
They will also be valid essay assignments (collages, murals, etc.).
For categories b) and c) I and School II:
They should be drawings, paintings, photographs or compositions in black and white or colored
All posters (of any category) must bear the reference: "Carnaval 2014 Cehegín 1st to March 8th - NORTHWEST CARNIVAL"
Without abandoning the idea of ​​the competition, participants will headline his works.
The works submitted must not include any name or visible signal that can identify its author.
Participants shall execute a registration form with two copies to be provided to them by the General Meeting of Comparsa at the time of delivery of the work, and that, in turn, must adhere one, in a sealed envelope to back of each work.
Each participant may submit a maximum of two works that have not been awarded in other contests.
The deadline for posters end on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 20:00.
The work, once deposited, will be judged by a jury chaired by Councilman Celebration.
The award, one for each category, will be:
From 300 €.
for category a) and editing work as poster Carnival 2014.
From 100 €.
a bond redeemed at any of the libraries Cehegín for category b) and editing work as the back cover of program acts Carnival 2014.
From 80 €.
a voucher redeemable at any of the libraries Cehegín for category c) and editing the work inside the program of events of the Carnival 2014.
Prizes can be declared void if the jury did not satisfy the papers of sufficient quality for publication.
The winning works will become property of the Hon.
City of Cehegín.
Both the papers, as the winners will be displayed to the public during the week of Carnival, in an exhibition on this subject to be announced.
All concerns raised and the development of the provisions of these rules shall be resolved by the representative of the General Board of Troupes in the House of Culture.
