La Gran Via Cehegín has welcomed this morning from 12:00 hours the first Zumba Fitness Marathon within the sports activities offered by the Sports Council for this Christmas.
About 60 people participated in the activity, and have collected about 300 kilos of food, since each participant has collaborated with bag of 5 kilos, according to the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín.
"In this marathon we wanted to take to the streets for the first time an activity of late is fashionable such as zumba, and while doing solidarity work, since enrollment in this activity has been to not bring food Caritas perishables to distribute among the needy of our town at Christmas, "added Antonio Marín.
The next sporting activity within the Christmas program will be the seventh San Silvestre race that will take place on Sunday, December 29, departing at 12:00 pm from the Plaza del Castillo.
