The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, today announced that his department will improve road safety RM B-20 road linking the village with Cehegín Valentine, with a work that will rectifying curve Santa Barbara.
Sevilla made the remarks during the subsequent appearance of the working meeting held today in Cehegín the local mayor, José Soria, and their respective teams.
At this meeting, said another priority of the Ministry in the city is improving RM B-21 (RM-714-Cehegín), linking the town with the industrial Agua Salada.
He also noted that, thanks to road maintenance contract Northwest, "will guarantee the feasibility and safety of the 52 kilometers of regional roads that run through the town of Cehegín".
He recalled that his department spends more than 3.4 million euro immediately, scheduled maintenance, and the use and protection of 365.75 kilometers of roads covering the municipalities of Cehegín, Caravaca de la Cruz, Calasparra, Moratalla and Bullas.
Sevilla referred to the grant awarded by his department to improve public spaces like the garden of 'El Coso' and municipal office building.
"We have allocated one million euros to rehabilitate a public space in the historic heart of Cehegín, which have made possible a new green area and new municipal facilities and garages," said the director.
Review of the Land Law
The Region is studying 17 proposals submitted by the City of Cehegín framed in the process of revising the Land Law of the Region of Murcia.
Thanking Consistory involvement in these policy papers developed by the Ministry, Sevilla said that "the ideas presented by the mayor are aimed primarily at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of procedures for town."
As detailed, the City proposes a new licensing regime to the establishment of a single, coordinated among all administrations environmental competition, in order to ease administrative burden procedure.
"We have found very successful clarification of the terms proposed in the section above we have licenses as well as the request to define in more detail the concepts relating to buildability" said Sevilla.
The Minister recalled that "it is the first time in the Community forum is created working with local councils to undertake a review of the Land Act, and to comply with the requirement of recent state legislation."
The objective of the Ministry with this workshop is to discuss and share local experiences, he said, "in order to prepare a draft regulatory text of the majority consensus is born, to update and refine the current law of the land."
