The VI Road Cocktail Cover and Cehegín be held from Sunday January 26 to Sunday February 23, 2014, as announced by the Councillor for Tourism, Francisco Abril, who held a meeting with representatives of the Association of Trade and Hospitality Cehegín to set the dates and start profiling this gastronomic event.
One of the new features included in this new edition of the Ruta de la Tapa and the Cocktail is that during the month of December, a professional jury will visit participating locations in the path by a selection of the best tapas, taking into account criteria presentation and taste.
"This selection will be done to ensure the quality of participants caps, thus providing more category, if possible, to the Ruta de la Tapa" said Francisco in April.
In the V edition of the Ruta de la Tapa and Cocktail, held between February and March 2013, the hoteliers sold more than 160,000 drinks, and this event became known as one of the most visitors it attracts and energizes the sector more hospitality of the town.
