Cehegín City Council has approved in recent plenary session, a series of changes aimed at reducing tax ordinance the tax burden on the residents in various taxes and municipal taxes.
One proposal has been approved the reduction of 3% in the Property Tax (IBI), both urban and rustic, in the Vehicle Tax and the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE) for those citizens who are domiciled entities financial recovery of such fees and which will apply from next year 2014.
Similarly, it has approved a tax rate reduction of IBI, better known as 'contribution', in buildings of urban nature, from 0'53 to 0'51, to avoid excessive rise as a result of the review conducted cadastral in 2007 by the State.
With this reduction, the tax rate has become the lowest in the Northwest Region.
Also entitled to a bonus share of IBI citizens who have the status of a large family under a number of conditions, including the bonus that is granted only for housing and constitutes the first habitual residence family.
