Cehegín Musical Society has won the first prize of the Third Section in the National Band Contest XXIII Music 'Ciudad de Murcia' held yesterday, Sunday November 10 at the Teatro Romea Murcia city.
The group ceheginera competed in the Third Section with the musical group from White, who was in third place, and the Musical Society 'Hope' of San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante), which won the second prize.
Ceheginera band directed by Rafael Gonzalez, performed two works, one of which was forced character 'fantasy friendly' Jose Velez and a second piece chosen freely, 'Bonaparte' by Otto M.

As explained by the President of the Musical Society of Cehegín, José Francisco Ruiz Jimenez, this award has been a great joy for training, and recognition of the work and the work being carried all its components, both the director and the musicians in recent years.
