The staff from the municipal parks and gardens, under the Department of Works and Services directed by Juan Antonio Chico, has launched a campaign of winter pruning of all trees in the gardens, parks and public spaces of the town.
They highlight examples of different varieties, especially mulberries, bananas and melias.
On the other hand, Juan Antonio Chico has reported that staff employment district councils are carrying out the cleanup of weeds in the gutters in the main entrances to the town, on rural roads in the municipality, in the city-owned solar and the suburbs of the old town.
It also performs maintenance work the stretch of the Northwest Greenway that runs through Cehegín.
"Public spaces are for all to enjoy and cehegineros the need to avoid vandalism in them, and the presence of animal feces. Should be a respect and care for the environment to give a good image of our people to the own neighbors and all those who visit us, "said Councilman Juan Antonio Chico.
