Recently all sports associations have received a grant of 35,000 euros
Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and Council Social Services, María José de Maya, associations and NGOs, Maria del Mar de Bejar, and Culture, Nicholas del Toro, have delivered this morning grants to various groups in the municipality, specifically Caritas of the parish of St. Mary Magdalene and the parish of Our Lady of Wonders, Cultural Arts Association and the Association's Jardinico Andalusian Cultural Virgen de las Maravillas.
Soria explained that the parish Caritas of the Virgin of Wonders will have been delivered by one side of a check for 1,000 euros which corresponds to an agreement for assistance to people in need and on the other side of another check of 5,619 euros for the maintenance and operation of the Center St. Francis of Assisi Day serving children from disadvantaged families.
Caritas parish of St. Mary Magdalene has also received two checks, one for 1,200 euros related to the maintenance of Sojourner House and another 1,000 euros related to the agreement signed for the help of needy people they serve from Caritas.
The Virgin Andalusian Cultural Association of Wonders and Cultural Association of Art The Jardinico have received two separate checks worth 1,500 euros.
Soria socio highlighted the work developed by The Jardinico with users Bethany Therapeutic Center.
On the other hand, the mayor has recently been reported that all associations and sports clubs in the municipality have received a grant of 35,000 euros.
