The hamlet of Valentine last Saturday hosted the second edition of Cross Duathlon Mud Valley, which runs the Argos Vega and Preserve Cehegín Wonderland, running through the place de la Fuente Faria, the nature trail and Wonders Acebuche House.
The test was used to open the Cross Duathlon regional calendar, of the three that are planned be held in the Region of Murcia in the coming months.
This second edition was developed in two phases, the lower from a Cadet Multisport kicked off in the morning, while absolute proof was held in the afternoon.
The ceheginero Christopher Garcia Guillen, Cehegín AD, has won first place with a time of 1:17:34, followed by Francisco Ramón Candel (1:19:05) and AD Angel Pekabo Lenci Triathlon (1: 20:13).
Stanislaus Junior Men category, Jesus Lopez and Jose Sub 23 male Veterans Caselles in two won their respective events.
After completion of the test, the Councillor for Sports of Cehegín, Antonio Marín, said that "we have taken the test in the hamlet of Valentine, with the intention of bringing the sport to all districts of the city," the mayor also recalled that "is proof that last year had to be canceled due to inclement weather and fortunately the weather has accompanied and has been held as normal".
