Cehegín City Council, through the Department of Forestry has adopted a municipal ordinance regulating the use mycological Cehegín in the mountains, and to regulate the collection of mushrooms, chanterelles, and mushrooms, in the town.
This was announced Montes Councilman Joaquin Marin, who added that another purpose of the Ordinance is to "reduce and eliminate where possible undesired effects that causes activity in the forest and its natural ecosystem."
The scope of this Ordinance are municipally owned forest areas and also refers to the systems and methods of collection.
So, specifies that mushroom species by its stem should be cut with a sharp instrument must not uproot.
Place shall cease on past issues, broken or damaged and those that do not give rise specimens collection.
The most suitable containers for deposit will be the wicker baskets or spelled.
And will limit the collection of these mushroom species to 5 kilos per person per day.
As for prohibited practices, the Ordinance contains the collection of edible species in its first phase of development, the collection with rake or other tools that may damage the mount, remove the ground indiscriminately, so as to alter the surface topsoil, the abandonment of waste and garbage in the bush outside authorized areas, the misuse of public roads, streams and trails that may cause harm to themselves and the emission of noise, flashing lights and other programs that might disturb the tranquility of species.
The ordinance finally stipulates a penalty system with offenses considered minor, whose fine is up to 50 euros serious offenses, from 51 to 300 euros, and very serious infringements of 301-1000 euros.
