With the proclamation of Alfonso Marin, owner and founder of Bodegas Begastri SL, will begin this Friday the festivities in honor of the Virgen del Pilar in the hamlet of Glen of Canara.
Marin is a resident of the hamlet, where besides this iconic company is headquartered ceheginera the wine industry in the place Braids.
Then there will be the crowning of the Queen and the Ladies of the Festival 2013, after which he will taste the traditional raffle crumbs and ham.
On Saturday October 12, the feast of the Virgen del Pilar, will be a mass sung by Campillo Animeros during which will be offering food and household goods to families in need.
Throughout that day was followed by other acts, such as popular rice at noon, a children's party, grilled meat at night, a carnival party with costume contest and karaoke.
The festivities end on Sunday, October 13, with a convivial meal, the pilgrimage of the Virgen del Pilar enlivened by Animeros Cehegín chocolate for all the pilgrims and the fireworks finale.
