The mayor, Jose Soria, and the councilors Maria del Mar de Bejar, Maria José Carreño Maya and Pepa, accompanying attended Association Cehegín Housewives 'Virgen de la Pena' the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Thader Consumption (Housewives' Association of the Region of Murcia), which has become a tribute to a group of people for their work and contribution to social movement and women's associations.
Among the honorees was the president of the Cehegín Housewives, Rita Valero, which was accompanied on stage by Jose Soria.
The event was opened, with almost 1,500 people, by the President of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, who was accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, and the Minister of Health and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Palacios, as well as several CEOs.
In this act, involving housewives across the region, is claimed by all the speakers the importance of this group in society and the important role they have been developing for many years.
It was also stressed by the Consumer Thader president, Jane Doe, lack of social protection to this group.
The event involved as speakers Isabel San Sebastián journalist and psychologist Bernabé Tierno, and, among others, attended the former Secretary General of Social Affairs and current president of Red Cross Sevilla, Amalia Gomez, and many mayors and councilors of many municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
