The Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia has organized a technical seminar next Wednesday, September 18, which aims to show the good adaptation of pistachio in the Northwest Region, capacity and production characteristics and as pollination needs and problems of their grafts.
The conference is addressed to technicians and farmers concerned and will be held in the Northwest District Agricultural Office, located in Caravaca de la Cruz.
After the opening by CEO of Food Industry and Agricultural Training, Angel Garcia Lidón, an exhibition of experimental work.
Then, around 11:30 am, participants will travel to Cehegín to visit the demonstration plot where pistachios are grown.
In the plot, 'in situ', there will be a discussion on different aspects of interest.
