Boxing has returned to Cehegín held after decades without fighting with R Ring Night, which met this evening to a group of high technical quality competitors in the Sports Pavilion 'Loli de Gea' before hundreds of fans.
The event was organized by the Sports Council led by Antonio Marín and the boxer Antonio Tortosa, Murcia president of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur World Champion and K1.
Throughout the night ten bouts were held four different modes (K1, Kick Boxing and Muay Thai) between representatives of different gyms in Murcia, Andalusia and Valencia.
Fights followed with great anticipation for the audience, amazed many times before a show unprecedented in Cehegín for youngsters.
Antonio Tortosa said this means that one of the objectives of these events is to extend and publicize minority sport, banishing myths and stereotypes that relates to violence and aggression.
Tortosa has also highlighted the technical quality and camaraderie surrounding the group of competitors who have come to Cehegín.
