The Shrine of Our Lady of Wonders in the Franciscan convent of San Esteban has welcomed last night, Monday, September 2, the usual concert Cehegín Musical Society offers at the end of one of the novenas dedicated to the patron.
In the chancel of the church, and to the baroque altarpiece which houses the chapel where they worship the image of the Virgin, the musical, directed by Rafael Gonzalez, has played three gears procession.
Presented by Gil González Alfonso, and with the assistance of President of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Wonders, Aurelio Ruiz, the concert began with the march 'Alley of O', the work of Paco Lola Seville composer dedicated to the brotherhood of Our Lady of O, based in the Triana district.
The second composition was interpreted Dolores Salteras' Martin Chambers march dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows in the Seville town of Salteras.
A processional march Jumilla musician Roque Baños entitled 'The Grave' was the third part of the concert.
This march is an adaptation of the soundtrack of the film 'Alatriste' award-winning musician who composed Jumillano.
The Hymn to the Virgin of Wonders, with music and lyrics Canalejas Arturo Madrid of Franciscan Father Angel Herrera, closed the concert.
