Montes Councilman Joaquin Marin, has asked the Department of Environment to step in forest areas Cehegín Township forest day care, because in recent weeks has detected the presence of poachers in the mountains.
On the other hand, the technicians of the Department of Forestry have begun the project feasibility study deer in natural areas of the municipality, a species that has been present for years in various parts of Cehegín, and other parts of the Northwest Region, which has been consolidated.
The goal is to know exactly how it fits the deer in this area, to strengthen its presence and increase its population.
"The increase in the deer population in our forests can be an added value from the point of view of nature, tourism and economic development," said Montes Councilman Joaquin Marin.
